KHARTOUM — The director of Khartoum airport said drone attacks caused no damage to the facility, according to a post on Telegram by Al Arabiya on 19 October 2026. The post was published at 17:24 GMT.

The post carried a short statement from the airport director. Its summary gives only the headline wording, which says there was no damage from drone attacks. The post does not give details of when the attacks occurred, how many drones were involved, or who was behind them.

No other source has reported on the statement. Zenga News has not independently confirmed the claim, and no independent account of the attacks or of any damage has been found in the material available. The post does not say whether airport operations were affected.

Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, has been the scene of fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces since April 2023. Drone strikes have been reported in several parts of the country during the conflict, including near airports and military sites. Airports in Sudan have been closed or partly shut at various points since the war began.
